WALK ON GLACIER DAY TOUR FROM ANCHORAGE: Approximately 240 mile round trip. Matanuska Glacier is 2 7 miles long and 4 miles wide. Tour includes Wasilla (lditarod Sled dog Headquarters), Palmer farm area, Talkeetna and Chugach mounains. Approximately 2 hour walk on a this huge magnificent glacier, travel back to Anchorage stoppping for scenic pictures and wildlife. Leave Anchorage 9:am, return approx. 5:30 pm.
