What You Can Expect

Tours includes the best of Alaska, covering the ocean seaport Seward, PLUS snow-capped mountains and glaciers, PLUS the interior tundra of Denali National Park, as well as the “Golden Heart” city of Fairbanks.
The trip also covers much of south-central Alaska: Anchorage; Palmer; the lditarod headquarters in Wasilla; Talkeetna and Denali National Park (which includes Mt. McKinley, North America’s tallest peak); Fairbanks; North Pole and the Santa Claus House; “the pipeline,” the massive trans-Alaska oil pipeline; Glennallen in the Copper River Basin; Wrangell-St. Elias National Park; the Matanuska Glacier and farm valley; Turnagain Arm; Alyeska ski resort; Portage Glacier; Seward (with optional Prince William Sound boat cruise for glaciers, whales, seals, sea otters, and bird rookeries).
This guided tour stops often for photographs, wildlife, and leg-stretching. You’ll stay in modern Alaskan hotels and eat in unique cafés and restaurants along the way. Your evenings will be free to shop, hike, comb beaches, and explore. At your leisure you can photograph Alaska’s broad variety of wildlife, flowers, glaciers, and scenic snow-capped mountains, or you can just sit back and soak in the beautiful scenery.

Meet David Lazer, Your Guide

Having lived in Alaska since 1968, I have firsthand experience knowing the best places to see and the best way to see them. I constantly strive to give my clients the most enjoyable and memorable trip possible. For that reason my guided bus tours lead only twenty people at a time, keeping things quiet and casual. My buses are very comfortable and provide superior leg room; the reclining seats are more widely spaced than on standard buses. Large windows let you take in the sights even while on the road.  And not only will I take you to all the same places that tour companies such as Princess, Gray Line, and Holland America go, but I will take you to many places they are unable to enjoy because of the limitations imposed by their large motorcoaches. With maximum 20 people or less on my thirty-foot tour bus, I’m able to provide you with a more personal and private tour experience.

It was wonderful. We saw moose, bears, whales, eagles, mt goats and sheep, wolves, caribou, lots of pretty flowers and miles of beautiful country. David was a great tour guide and choose good places to stay and eat! Nice size bus with big windows and small enough group we didn't feel overwhelmed. We needed a sweatshirt or light jacket a few times but had nights we slept with the windows open. Go and enjoy!
